In Q3 2022, the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Ireland showed varied trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride had a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 4.6K in late June and dropping to 2.6K by the end of September. However, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at around 125K in late August.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a noticeable decrease in weekly downloads from 5.1K in late June to just over 2.1K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline, from 13K to approximately 9K over the same period.

Lyft showed a consistent but lower download rate, starting at 1K downloads per week in late June and ending at around 400 by late September. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained fairly constant, hovering around the 3K mark.

Cabify had modest weekly downloads, beginning at 274 in late June and ending at 230 by the end of September. Its active users remained stable, peaking at 1.7K in mid-July and then stabilizing around 1.3K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 140 and 190 throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase, peaking at 2.9K in mid-September.
